Materials informations

All Blume jewelry pieces are handmade in my workshop, using pure 999 silver and other materials that i personally test and buy in Switzerland. Each piece is unique as it is crafted using real leaves, making every pendant special and one of a kind.

Since they are handmade, the sizes, shapes, and finishes may vary slightly between each piece, highlighting the charm of craftsmanship.

Over time, especially if not worn, silver may tarnish. This is a natural process that can be accelerated by contact with external agents such as perfumes, air, saltwater, sulfur, skincare products, hair spray, chlorine, or skin with an acidic pH. Tarnishing is not a defect, nor is it permanent: your jewelry will easily regain its shine with a simple cleaning. To keep the pendants sparkling, gently rub them with a silver cleaning product or with a cloth and toothpaste, then rinse and dry them carefully.

My jewelry not only embodies beauty and craftsmanship but also carries the energy of the plants from which they are inspired, linked to astro-botanical traditions. Each piece is created with dedication to last over time, and proper care ensures its longevity and brilliance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

When it comes to taking care of your jewelry, it's important to follow proper care instructions to ensure its longevity and keep it looking its best. Whether you have a collection of polymer clay rings or other types of jewelry, these guidelines will help you maintain their beauty and quality.

1. Clean your jewelry regularly

Regular cleaning is essential to remove dirt, oils, and other substances that can dull the appearance of your jewelry. For polymer clay rings, gently wipe them with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can damage the clay.

2. Store your jewelry properly

Proper storage is crucial to prevent scratches, tangles, and other damage. Keep your jewellery in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For polymer clay rings, it's best to store them individually in a soft pouch or a jewellery box with compartments to avoid any potential scratching.

3. Avoid exposure to chemicals

Chemicals can be harmful to your jewellery, causing discoloration or even structural damage. Avoid wearing your jewellery when using household cleaning products, swimming in chlorinated pools, or applying beauty products such as lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays. It's also advisable to remove your jewellery before engaging in any physical activities or sports.

 4. Handle with care

While jewellery is designed to be worn, it's important to handle it with care to prevent accidental damage. Avoid pulling or tugging on delicate chains, and be cautious when wearing rings to prevent them from getting caught on objects. When removing your jewellery, gently slide it off rather than pulling or twisting it.

By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your jewellery, including your polymer clay rings, remains beautiful and in excellent condition for years to come. Remember, proper care and maintenance are essential for preserving the quality and longevity of your cherished accessories.
